What non-scammy bus services are recommended for a same-day border run to Cambodia from Bangkok?

Can anyone who has done a border run recently recommend a non scammy service? Like a bus service that takes you to the cambodian border and back in 8 hours or so(from BKK). Apparantly there are a few scam companies out there with dodgy reviews so i'd really love some advice from anyone who has done it recently. I don't have the money as of just yet to get the new DVT visa so i'm stuck having to do the border runs for now... thanks in advance! (i should mention i need one that is same day return, i dont want to stay overnight in another country)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers around seeking reliable bus services for same-day border runs to Cambodia from Bangkok. Users recommend various services such as 'Thai Visa Service,' known for efficient trips leaving from On Nut BTS, and 'Nakhonchai Air,' offering comfortable travel to Laos, albeit with more travel time. Additionally, there are mentions of potential issues regarding visa documentation that travelers should be aware of before returning to Thailand.

if you use the recommended Thai Visa service, make sure you check your documentation before going back in through the checkpoint to make sure the people filling in your forms for you took note of you METV. I saw they had written down 30 days instead of 60 days re-entry request for me so asked one of the guys from the company to fix up. Otherwise it was an efficient half day trip.

go google "nakornchai air", it is a bus service from near mo chit bus station (they have their own bus station) to nong khai bus station (about 700b to 800b) (aircon is cold and seat is comfortable) , than take a tuk tuk (about 80b) to the thai immigration, stamp out, and buy a ticket get on a bus (i think about 20 plus baht) it will take you to lao immigration to get stamp in, turn left and get stamp out. (very peaceful and nice place, the bus is very comfortable.) ((do not take the cheap bus, they will stop and stop and stop everywhere, no toilet and most have old terrible seats and aircon that is not cold.))

why take a bus 9 hours each way to Laos when you can just go to Cambodia and back in a day?

Cos lao is a much nicer place. Stamp in and out. Cambodia immigration will need you to stay at least 24 hours or over night. Unless you like to go with a visa ran company in their tiny warm van with no leg room.

I'd rather spend 8 hours and 3500 baht with a visa run company and sleep in my own bed

I rather have cool aircon with plenty of leg room and toilet than jam into a tiny van with so many people. Getting up at 3am so i can make it to the visa ran van... no, i rather go in the later afternoon and sleep in the bus.

"Thai visa service" has a good reputation. They leave most days of the week super early from the Lotus parking lot at On Nut BTS. Take you to Cambodia and back before evening.
