Has anyone gone through the process of applying for a visa via the Thai E visa system from Laos? Any info on the processing time or whether there's maybe a better way to do it these days? 10-15 days processing time seems a bit too long to be hanging around up there. Thanks in advance.

Most reports I've seen from Vientiene say after you go to pay, you'll possibly be called for an interview within 1-2 days and then your visa will be issued 2-3 days after that.

you don't have to wait any amount of time to go pay. You just have to go during the correct hours. I think the interview is mostly to make sure you're in Laos.
