What is the process for obtaining a 5-year DTV visa for Thailand as a remote worker?

Hi everyone! I’d like to share my experience and say a big thank you to this group for all the useful information and support.

I just got my 5-year DTV visa last month.

I applied in Hanoi, Vietnam, as a remote software developer, with the help of a visa company I found through this group. The service was also reasonably priced.

Here’s a list of the documents I submitted:

1. Bank statement showing a balance of 500,000 THB

2. Bank statement covering the last 3 months

3. Employment letter + employment contract

4. Proof of current location (flight ticket, hotel reservation, or passport with a Vietnamese entry stamp)

After that, I flew to Thailand through Suvarnabhumi Airport (August 3rd) and had no questions at immigration.
