TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers around the pensionable earnings requirement for UK citizens applying for the Long Term Resident (LTR) visa in Thailand. It mentions that to qualify, one generally needs to show a pension income of 65,000 baht per month, approximately equivalent to £1,500. There are also queries regarding the exchange rate used in determining this amount and the recommendation to contact the LTR Visa Unit for the most accurate and current information.

65,000 baht a month going into a Thai bank account probably equivalent to about £1,500 sterling.

Directly Contact the LTR Visa Unit Office (under Thailand BOI) to find out what Exchange Rates they are currently using as it is periodically updated for consideration of any LTR Visa Application with them for Approval
