There are other reasons why fast track can be a good thing and not just for comfort. If doing a fast track service by a reputable agent thai immigration prescreen that individual first to make sure there are no 'red' marks or previous blacklistings etc etc.

You know there is free fast track for people over 70. You don’t need to pay voor VIP fast track

Yes, I used it few weeks back. Pretty easy going process. Be prepared that immigration still asked how long you are staying in Thailand
