Just an update for any new members in Chaing Rai. Just completed my first application for the 1 year extension (married to thai) at the office in Central Plaza and the experience was amazing. The immigration officer was very pleasant and explained everything clearly. Was in and out in under 1 hour and that also included the interview with myself and wife. I will be going back in 30 days to get the final stamp and I am looking forward to the visit. We'll done immigration this was a great experience especially when compared to dealing with South African authorities.
