Vientiane Visa Advise.

I'm going to get a SE tourist visa on Monday.

I'll be flying to Udon Thani on Sunday and spending the night there.

Can people advise how I can get to Vientiane for Monday morning. What is the best way to get from the city to the border- then from the border to the Thai embassy? is there any cost for entering Laos?

Thanks

but the Monday queue is always bad- why not spend a night in Vientiane and go on Tuesday?

it is doable from Udon- you might want to leave at 5:30 just to be in the safe side

thqt is why Nongkai is a better choice- you save at least 45 minutes, possibly an hour and a quarter

spend the night in Nongkai on the river- it is much nicer and much more convenient to get to the embassy in the morning.

If u take a van from udonthani airport its 200baht, but if u take a taxi from town its around 6to800baht.after that u need a visa to get in lao around 30-35usd .

And from the border to the embassy its 200baht by tuktuk.
