What is the best way to apply for the Thai Elite Visa and what should you be cautious about?
Hi everyone
If you are looking to get the Thai elite visa what is the best way to go about it? Should you go through a certain firm and are there any things you need to be aware of eg extra fees scams etc?

Answer summary
To apply for the Thai Elite Visa, it is recommended to go directly through the official Thai Privilege Visa website, avoiding authorized agents who provide no additional benefit. There are no requirements to cancel existing visas during the application process, but applicants are advised to verify such details directly with the service. Prospective applicants should also consider alternatives like the BOI LTR visa, which may suit those who do not meet the criteria for the Elite Visa. There are specific investment and passive income requirements for the LTR visa, and more information can be found through online resources or relevant social media groups.

And be over 50 and not work in Thailand

No investment required if you have passive income above $80k US. If your passive income is between $40 & 80k then you have to invest $250k.

Have you checked the BOI LTR visa first. A fraction of the cost of you meet the requirements.

How would i learn more about LTR BOI? It seems applicable for myself but I'm having difficulty in finding the total amount of investment needed and it seems equal to the Elite? Thanks

The Elite visa company will give you a letter confirming your membership and you just use this when you apply for your elite visa at home.

Apply directly through the elite visa company. There's no benefit to you to use one of their authorized agents.
