Still working in the UK, aged 63, want to spend 2x90 days in Thailand per year, not married.
What’s the best visa?
Would also appreciate any recommendations on health insurance ( not travel ) for while I am there that would pay the hospital direct, no underlining medical conditions.
Thanks for your time fella’s
TLDR : Answer Summary
A 63-year-old individual currently working in the UK is seeking advice on the best visa options for spending two 90-day periods in Thailand each year. Community suggestions include applying for two 90-day Non-O visas based on retirement, as this is considered a safe option without the need for an outbound ticket or extensions. There are also mentions of using a visa exemption for 60 days with a possible 30-day extension, given the current regulations allow for this. Additionally, recommendations for health insurance suggest obtaining comprehensive insurance from home, as it tends to be more cost-effective than insurance purchased in Thailand.
