TLDR : Answer Summary
For a long-term stay in Thailand (12 months or more) for individuals married to a Thai spouse, the best options include the NON-O visa, which requires proof of financial stability (400,000 baht in a bank account or a monthly income of 40,000 baht). Other viable options are the LTR visa (10 years) and the DTV visa (5 years). The Thai Elite visa is also available for those looking for the longest possible stay (up to 20 years), though it is subject to debate regarding value.

Whichever course of action you decide to take just be sure you do not get a marriage Visa. After the marriage has run its course do you want your longevity in Thailand to be based on a moody female? Of course not so keep your Visa situation independent for yourself.

NonO (marriage) is simply the best option with 400k baht seasoned for 2mths Or 40k baht /mth for 12 mths statements to apply and there after can use it all after approval

Without more information difficult to say for sure.

Longest would be an Elite/Privilege 20 year visa. Debatable on whether best value. Next would be an 10 year LTR visa if you’d qualify.

After that a DTV visa would be good for 5 years and is very reasonable.

A non O based on marriage would give you 3 months and as long as you meet the financial requirements you can extend that stay yearly for 1,900 baht.
