TLDR : Answer Summary
The best option for a border run from Jomtien is to head to Ban Pakkad, with departures at 6:00 AM and a return around 2:00 PM. Additionally, Annie Visa Pattaya offers arrangements for border bounces, but using a professional land border transport company is recommended for reasonable pricing and reliability.

arrange border bounces from Pattaya/Jomtien.

Personally I would have used a professional land border transport company if it was just a bounce to get a visa exemption. Reasonable priced.

You don’t pay for a visa.

You just go back as soon as possible, like a visa run.

Bus ticket from jomtien to the airport costs about 140 bath.

If I want to visit Cambodia, Yes.

If I want to just make visa run, I stay in the airport and wait for a flight back.

But the point here is that’ll need to pay for a visa on arrival into Cambodia anyway in order to get your new visa exemption when you re-enter Thailand. Transit stay at the airport in Cambodia will not qualify.

And this is not a visa run, just a border bounce to get a visa exemption.

The only one thing matters.

New entrance to Thailand.

I know several people who did that.

At the airport in Thailand matter that you enter the country , nothing else.

You must also enter and exit another country after stamping out of Thailand to complete a border bounce

To get a new entrance into Thailand, you’ll need to stamp out and into Cambodia first. This is basic knowledge.

No. It doesn’t matter where you’ve been before enter the Thai border.

You did leave the country and you enter again.

You can’t leave any country into nowhere, in fact you enter another country if you leave the thai border and if not entitled to visa exemption you’ll need to apply for a visa. 🤷🏼

It’s not about me. We can get some thoughts about visa run to other people. Some might be interested to visit a country while making a visa run 🏃🏿‍♂️😃

as I told you, you can tell visa run bus you want to stay Cambodia extra days, they day no problem need to pay extra few baht. Then you can travel as much you want inside Cambodia and come back to the border when you agreed date and time, and they still take you back straight to your hotel but sure I understand with your route then yes might be better with flight and bus or taxi to the airport.

But let face I guess most people in this group want to come back Thailand ASAP not stay in another country. Sure some but mainly to get visa back to Thailand 😅

No later flight on the date 26th :) so no matter how much you looking at it, taking flight will not save you money.

Just save your time.

If you have a car, you don’t care about bus schedule.

I wouldn’t like to sit in a bus 10 hours 😏

But I did a visa run some 5 years ago to Cambodia with a flight but I wanted to stay there in a few days…

You can still stay there few days when you take the border run bus, and pay few extra baht. For me sitting in a bus that takes you back right in front of your hotel in 10 hours or being in a airport all day then taxi 2 hours before you get back to your hotel is more appealing to be honest. 😄 Of course if you have a car no problem also with that logic why bother with flight or border run bus can just drive yourself 🤣

If you don’t feel completely confident about getting another visa exemption, a border run company is always your safest bet anyway.

paid 2600 last year, unsure if price gone up, they take you over and way back they buy you lunch. Start like 5am and home before 5pm and we went to ban laem border I believe

And your question about the border: This company take you there, then it's a line where they collect your passport then it's a waiting area where you get your passport back with visa to Cambodia, you cross the bridge, get stamped out, stamped in, cross back and get stamped out to get stamped into Thailand again
