Is there anyone who flew to Bangkok with a stopover in Singapore and was denied entry? I'm wondering if they'll send you back to Singapore or to your country of origin.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the potential outcomes for travelers denied entry into Bangkok, particularly those with a stopover in Singapore. Comments suggest that if entry is denied, travelers may be sent back to their country of origin, the place they boarded their flight, or may have the option to choose where to go next after paying for a new ticket. Advice is given to obtain the appropriate visa beforehand to avoid such issues.
110 times over 25 years. Stays mostly 3-4 days, others one month (when it was the rule for visa exemption).
Touristing all over Thailand, hotels, interesting places my Thai wife picked.
Look at this. Khon Kaen, trying to find our hotel, we (me, as the driver) of a rentacar, got into one way street, opposite direction.
Policeman stopped me. Called his commander (they were hunting no helmet motorbike riders, they were 20 of them) and what happened?
The Thai police commander spoke to my Thai daughter (then 17), "Noong, passa Thai) she told him we were lost.
The police commander ordered his policeman, on BMW white high power bike, to lead us to our hotel.
No fine.
Khon Kaen. That is why I have always Isaan.

The country you boarded first most likely. I'm sure transit stops don't count.

Your layover is irrelevant. If you're denied entry, you will be forced to purchase a ticket to where the immigration officer decides. That will be one of 3 places, in this order of likelihood.
1) where your flight originated
2) your passport country
3) a place of your choice
