I've included it as part of my application explaining why I don't require local employment and intend to abide by all visa rules. It's straight forward, all the best.

I think they just want you to state the reason you will come to Thailand. For example if it is a work-ation, it could help if you clearly state that you do not intend to work in Thailand as an employee or do business here. That your funds come from elsewhere…
