TLDR : Answer Summary
A multi-entry visa can be used for unlimited entries until its expiration date. The date specified on the visa indicates the last day you can enter the country using that visa. Once the visa is stamped in your passport, it is considered activated.

It goes live the moment it’s placed in your passport…
no i have a 6, month multi entry 60 day. and says to be used by march i not sure if meens only valid till then or have untill march to activate like a TR.
ok. It’s activated the day it’s issued. You can enter Thailand as many times as you like up until the valid until date. Each entry you’ll get 60 days and you can extend that once at a local immigration office or do a border bounce and get your next 60 days. If you time it that you do a border bounce on or just before the day it expires you can get almost 9 months from that visa.
yes cheers understand just wasent sure bout activation. I do not need it to stay need for bouncing in and out as we all know there strict with stamps at the moment even tho they are trying to boost the economy 🙄

If you have a multi entry visa, you can enter an unlimited number of times before the end date on the visa.
