I am an individual tax resident (not a company) and I sell software online (I don't have any contracts with clients). Can you please recommend to me what documents I should submit. My situation: I make a piece of software similar to a wordpress plugin, and I sell it from my website. All of my customers make a $25 payment that is processed through Paypal. I do over 1000 sales a year, and I transfer the money from Paypal to my New Zealand bank account. I pay tax in New Zealand as an individual , not as a registered company.

I can submit these documents:

*My website info

*My Paypal summary of sales

*My tax return

*My bank account showing the income from Paypal

Is there anything else I should submit?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is an individual tax resident who sells software online and seeks advice on the necessary documents to support their residency application in Thailand. They outlined their current income structure and proposed documents, which include website information, Paypal sales summaries, tax returns, and bank accounts showing income. Commenters suggested additional documentation such as a portfolio, an income statement supporting remote work capability, and a cover letter explaining their freelancing business.

I like the gym idea but long term..much cheaper to be single and stand by my original budget for old men in thailand. Having a THAi woman means more expense than being single. As I am the bull and u r the beautofil homegenous cow u will just have to believe me on this fact.

People live all over the world at various levels. They have different needs. We are not homogenous.

statement of the obvious..I'm talking about Thailand specifically and the majority of men that visit it..now I need to go look up homogenous...is that something to do with milk?

@Joe ****
Milk and people. On that note, about men especially single men, I think that ironically single men will spend more because they're looking for amusement or out drinking with buddies. If they joined a gym, they'd save money, health costs and probably meet someone.

Can you please explain more, I don't really have a "portfolio", as I just make 1 piece of software and sell it. How would the 'statement' work, I don't have an employer to state I work remotely, it seems a statement from my self would not prove anything?

@Matt ********
DTV Portfolio is non specific - can include CV, outline of your business, sample of work, website links, customer recommendations etc. A statement from yourself that you can operate your business remotely in Thailand is acceptable. Application approvals have been delayed until the embassy received a statement that the applicant can work remotely in Thailand.

Andi Traveller thanks, can please give me some detail about what the statement is. I don't have any registered company to put on a letterhead, what would I actually put on a pdf.

@Matt ********
Does not have to be on a letterhead as you do not have a company. "I am able to work remotely from Thailand under the Destination Thailand visa. which allows remote workers to live and work in the country for an extended period. With this visa, I can legally reside in Thailand while maintaining my work commitments abroad."
