I have a DTV visa; this is my first time leaving, and I’ll be re-entering Thailand. Is it enough to just have my DTV document with me? What kind of checks do they perform at entry? Do they want to see the funds in the bank, or are just my passport and DTV paper sufficient?

I’ve never been asked for anything other than TDAC, copy of visa and passport. I’ve entered more than 5+ times now in Bangkok and Chiang Mai and never been asked, likewise for most of my friends.

For most DTV re-entries, your passport + valid DTV + completed TDAC is usually enough. Immigration can already see your visa in the system. That said, it’s smart to keep a copy of your supporting docs (employment, bank, or activity proof) in case they ask. Most entries are straightforward, but being prepared helps.
