Update: I reapplied at the same embassy one week later, with 6 months muay thai, via "Issa Compass" agency, and sent more freelance work invoices, and got approved

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual initially faced a denial for a 5-year visa due to insufficient course duration (only one month of Muay Thai training). After reapplying one week later with comprehensive documentation, including freelance work invoices, they successfully obtained the visa through the Issa Compass agency. Comments on the post emphasize the importance of proper preparation for visa applications and the need to present proof of the visa upon arrival in Thailand.

U got denied cuz u applied for a 5 yrs visa with a single month course of Muay Thai instead of 6. There was no need to use an agency, u just had to do your homework before applying. I wonder how come this page has turned into dozens of anonymous posts recommending agencies, it feels like someone is trying to promote those

Thank You for your helpful report 👍

Congratulations 👏👏👏

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
