Hey all,
I have just completed my 90 day report at the new Nonthaburi Immigration office and thought I'd give an update. First off, getting there... It's a better location but Google Maps will bring you to the wrong location. It will advise you to turn left about half KM down the road from the actual turn. This will bring you to a housing estate entrance with security which Google has a blue line going through to your destination. Even when I arrived at the actual Immigration office Google was telling me to make a U-Turn and go back. To avoid this just continue slowly along the main road until you see the sign for Nonthaburi Immigration. The road to the Immigration office is only wide enough for one car so proceed with caution, I met other vehicles.
Arriving at the Immigration office, you now have to pay ฿20 to park. I guess you could park free in the grounds of the building but that was full when I arrived. Entering the office at the ground floor takes you right into the middle of the Laos/Myanmar/Cambodia section. You have to go through more doors and upstairs to the second floor to room 203 for visa extensions and 90 day reports. I got my ticket and my number was called straight away. I was in and out within 5 minutes.
The building itself is much more spacious, cleaner and air-conditioned throughout. The toilets are inside now as well, right beside 203.
Overall, a massive improvement on the previous Immigration office.
