I am in the USA now. But I want to come home to Thailand. I am married to a Thai lady.  What do need to enter.?  ''the covid insurance is it required ?

Yes, you would need covid insurance. There are 2 ways to enter Thailand, through state quarantine or through one of the sandboxes. Here are some FAQ's for the Phuket Sandbox.

Everyone needs a certificate of entry from a Thai embassy/consulate. To get that you need medical insurance specifically for Covid and a confirmed hotel reservation. If flying to Bangkok then a 15 night booking in a ASQ hotel, if Phuket then 14 nights in a SHA+ hotel (or 7 + 7)
