TLDR : Answer Summary
French citizens now face restrictions on obtaining visas in Thailand, leading to questions about the best methods for visa runs and extensions on tourist visas. Opinions from the community suggest that while a ban exists on the visa on arrival, obtaining a visa through a Thai consulate might still be possible. Visa extensions without leaving Thailand may also depend on the type of visa currently held.

Yes, French people can stil get a visa, visit a Thai Consulate and see if you can meet one of the requirements to apply for a visa

People from france never got a visa on arrival. They got a 30 day visa exampt, which is a small square stamp in your passport.

1. Can I get the source where french citizens are banned from getting a visa?

2. Where are you in Thailand?

3. It may be possible to get a visa extension, depending on the type of visa you currently have.
