TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur has a daily limit of 130 visa applications and operates according to local Malaysian time, which is 1 hour ahead of Thai time. The collection of visas is available the next day between 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM. It is advised to confirm the specific closing time for visa applications directly with the embassy, as this information is typically outlined on their official website.

If looking at the checklist, I notice this: 'Additional documents required for applicant from listed country.' What do they mean by that?
Collection is next day between 2.30 and 4.30pm. I got there today to pick up my visa at 3.30pm and only waited 3 mins.

I would agree with that. I had an authorisation letter from the MFA which is kinda like a trump card in the visa world.

Not sure what Helen is applying for, but I have a feeling that non immigrant type F visa applicants and tourist visa applicants may not receive exactly the same type of treatment. Just saying.

I made the security guy smile when I came out of the office dancing.....
Are there agents in Kuala Lumpur? Like Jim in Penang?

did you click the link I posted and read the screen grab? That's off the consulate's website so I'd say it's the actual time they stop taking applications
