TLDR : Answer Summary
After obtaining a NON-O retirement visa, the next steps involve preparing for your 12-month retirement visa application. It's essential to visit the local immigration office, as requirements may vary by location. Generally, you will need to ensure you have the necessary documentation, including proof of a minimum bank balance of 800,000 THB. Keep in mind that the financial requirements can change, as highlighted by community experiences. Always check the latest updates directly from the immigration office where your TM 30 form is registered.

I actually got printed docs in English and Thai, 12 mo and 6 mo before extension request, checked for the third time 2 mo before applying for extension, and they said "we changed the monthly 40k foreign xfer, we now require the 400k deposit" (visa based on marriage). No longer having 2 month left to season a new 400k intl xfer, I had to leave the country, then come back and start all over. That was before Covid. Situation is *always* fluid. Buyer beware. YMMV.
