What are the latest requirements for a visa run to obtain a new tourist visa in Thailand?
Need to do visa run for new tourist visa. Any news on borders closing? Im in Chiang Mai. Any new requirements?
Answer summary
The user is seeking information about performing a visa run in Chiang Mai for a new tourist visa, specifically regarding any updates on border closings and new requirements. Comments indicate that currently, one can still perform a visa run at Mae Sai - Tachiliek to obtain a new 30-day visa exempt entry, as long as they haven't used their two allowed entries within the calendar year.

AT THIS TIME, if all you're doing is bouncing out and back to get a new 30 day visa exempt entry by land (which you can TWO times in a year Jan 1 - Dec 31) bounce at Mae Sai -Tachiliek.
