I’m going to be applying for a 90 day O Visa here in Thailand soon prior to getting a 1 Year Retirement Visa....

Has anybody been to Jomtien Immigration recently to do this, just want to know the latest requirements....

Apart from 800k in the bank, what other requirements do they have?

FYI, I am currently on a 30 day Tourist Visa, Australian Passport if that helps...

TIA...

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is preparing to apply for a 90-day O Visa in Thailand before transitioning to a 1-Year Retirement Visa. They are seeking updated information on visa requirements at Jomtien Immigration, specifically if there are any additional requirements beyond the 800,000 THB in the bank. Comments suggest visiting the immigration office to obtain a list of requirements and highlight that the process can be multi-step and time-consuming.

Will do, was going to go in on Monday, just thought I’d run it past the group just in case there might be anything I might need to be aware of....

I know from previous experiences with marriage visa’s, those hand outs they give can be inaccurate sometimes...

Just looking for someone who’s done it recently just in case...

Thanks for the advice though...

Stop into Jomtien and pick up their list of requirements.

Visit the Immigration Office, show your passport and ask the hand out with requirements. It takes time to do this conversion and you need the time left on your stay, they will tell you if you do this with your current stamp, or first need an Extension of Stay or need a new stamp. To make the copies is not the hard part en when them all done, go back and apply
