TLDR : Answer Summary
For the first extension of stay on an O-A Visa in Thailand, you need to demonstrate proof of funds of 800,000 Baht in a Thai bank account under your name for at least 2 months prior to your application. Additionally, you must obtain mandatory health insurance from a recognized provider.
Okay, IF you are applying for a yearly extension based on retirement the proof of funds is 800K baht in a thai bank account in your name only for 2 months before you apply for it AND because you're getting an extension from an O-A visa entry stamp you would need the mandatory insurance from one of the 15 thai insurance carriers.
However IF after you go to the immigration office and check and they say you can apply for a yearly extension based on marriage to a thai (from your O-A year entry stamp) then the proof of funds would be 400K baht in a thai bank account in your name only for 2 months before you apply.
It all will come down to whether the immigration office will allow you to apply for a yearly extension based on marriage from an O-A entry stamp (which the consensus is they will not).
