has anyone on a DTV left Thailand for over 6 months? if so, have you had any issues entering after that long?

The longer you stay out of thailand the better. It doesn't make you look like you are staying there for long term.

I was out from last week of October 25 and came back in on 18th of May.

No issues.

The only question Male IO asked is How long will I stay here. Said 2 months. But already stamped for 180 days.

I have been away for 6mths in the early days of my DTV, no prob re entering. You can come and go as you please.

It could be better actually because it is meant to be a tourist visa, to make it convenient for digital nomads and people interested in Thai culture to come and go multiple times. It’s not regarded as a long term resident visa. I believe you’ll be fine.
