If you do 1st 90 day report in person, then leave for 6 months and return again, can you do the next online? Or does the process reset?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The initial 90-day report after entering Thailand must be done in person for each entry. If you leave Thailand for 6 months and return, you will need to submit your first 90-day report in person again. Generally, the process does not reset, as each entry requires a new in-person report.

The first 90-day report after each and every entry must be done in person. Actually on the DTV you'll probably never do a second 90-day report as you must leave before 180 days or get an extension, in which case immigration would automatically update your 90 day report.

I've seen some exceptions but most had to show up in person again after having left the country and back.
