If you do 1st 90 day report in person, then leave for 6 months and return again, can you do the next online? Or does the process reset?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The first 90-day report after entering Thailand must be done in person. If you leave the country and return, you will likely need to do the 90-day report in person again, as most cases require this. However, if you are on a visa that allows extensions and do not remain longer than 180 days, immigration may automatically update your 90-day report.

The first 90-day report after each and every entry must be done in person. Actually on the DTV you'll probably never do a second 90-day report as you must leave before 180 days or get an extension, in which case immigration would automatically update your 90 day report.

I've seen some exceptions but most had to show up in person again after having left the country and back.
