TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers returning to the United States with United Airlines need to provide a negative PCR or Antigen test that was taken within one day prior to their flight. Clarifications from community members emphasize that 'one day' refers to a calendar day rather than a strict 24-hour window, allowing for testing the day before a flight, and suggest that antigen tests are a more affordable and quicker option for obtaining required paperwork.

It’s 1 day. I have my test at 9:30 am the previous day boarded the plane for 12:30 pm flight next day. No problems . Also back in the USA no covid stuff is checked at all (at least for citizens) . I mean , no surprise given the case numbers

One (1) day not 24 hours.

Look at cdc and State Department websites.

This is to your advantage.

Also do the antigen test . It’s cheaper 600 baht and you get paperwork in 30 minutes.

-Quoting United Airlines” .....no more than one day...”

I could be wrong , but I always thought one day is 24 hours.
