Hey guys! Does anybody know if you still need cover of $100,000 usd insurance for the STV or has the Thai website not been updated and you only need $20,000 usd, same as what’s required for the Thailand pass? TIA 🙏🏼
TLDR : Answer Summary
The current requirement for insurance when applying for the STV (Special Tourist Visa) in Thailand seems to have changed to $20,000, which aligns with the requirements for the Thailand Pass. Earlier, the requirement was $100,000, and there are additional requirements such as medical clearance and prepaid lodging for 90 days. It's important to check the official Thai immigration site for the latest updates, as the STV program is set to end soon.
