Hi, I've tried to sort out my guardian visa this week without success (Promenada, Chiang Mai). There are always too much people in the queue in front of me and only the first 60 are served in a day. Today at 6 o'clock I would have been the 68th. I asked the first one and she has been sitting there since yesterday 2pm. Ouch. There are lots of CMU students. I don't know whether this peak is 'normal' in this season but definitely don't want to go there a day before. In fact I still have some time to get my visa. Does anyone know more about this crazy?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is experiencing difficulties obtaining a guardian visa in Chiang Mai due to long queues, with only 60 applications processed daily, and reports of others waiting for extended periods. Comments suggest that the Chiang Mai immigration office has arbitrary processing limits, and there are recommendations to consider using visa services or hiring locals to queue.
