ORIGINAL POSTER
I am traveling to Thailand from England in a few days on a single entry non immigrant o visa. Ideally I would like to stay for nine months but decided against a retirement visa because of the 800000 bart fund requirement and the very poor exchange rate. I am married to a Thai and previously travelled on a multiple non immigrant o visa which we can no longer get. What would be my best options to prolong my stay, thanks Richard.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Richard is traveling to Thailand on a single entry non-immigrant O visa and wishes to extend his stay for nine months. He seeks alternatives to a retirement visa due to the financial requirements and the unfavorable exchange rate. Previously, he had a multiple non-immigrant O visa but can no longer obtain it. Richard is looking for the best options to prolong his stay, ideally considering his marriage to a Thai citizen.
