Any advice welcome!!

I’m due a visa renewal soon with my DTV soft power visa.

An easy border bounce will do the trick but of course I know how difficult it can be sometimes.

From Koh Tao, what has been the best route to take for a simple border bounce? 🙏🏻

DTV is introduced 15 July 2024 and valid for 5 years.

Even when you got it on the first day, it will be valid until 14 July 2029

You do not need to renew, even if you wish, you can not.

What you need to do is apply for an Extension of Stay at local Immigration OR

make a border run to get a NEW period of stay.

What officially recognized soft power did you find on Koh Tao? I would say: take a nice trip and see something other that hopelessly overtouristic Koh Tao for a while.

once visa is approved, you can go to any gym , doesn't have to be officially recognized for dtv

Personally I night boat to Surat. Fly to Bangkok and go to see somewhere new for a couple of days from there on a return ticket.

Can be expensive, but you can go to Samui, then fly to Singapore and back.
