The cheapest and fastest should be the Kanchanburi/ Myanmar (Burma) border. If you do it yourself, it'll cost 100THB for a bus from Sai Tai Mai to Kanchanburi, another 60THB to the border (I think), and 980THB for the border crossing/ day pass to Myanmar.
