Hey all,

I applied for a DTV through the Soft Power Muay Thai route, and received an additional document request for a letter from the SAT. My gym just started working on it, and said they SAT told them it can take up to a month to complete. Has anyone else received this letter before and know how long it takes in reality?

Yes some embassies require this additional document. Los Angeles is the latest Royal Thai Consulate General to require this document. Malaysia, China Singapore and India are others. It generally takes approximately 5-21 days to receive the document once it has been requested. Only gyms that are officially certified by the Ministry of Sports and Tourism can request and receive this document. We have done this many times for our customers and it does generally take around 3-4 weeks.

Yes, but usually the gyms plan that letter in advance. Are you using a random gym?

DTV_BegPecker no, it’s a well known and SAT certified gym. I guess they’ve just never had an applicant use an embassy that requires the letter.
