I use a mail processing service. I use an outfit called Physical Address, but there are quite a few to choose from.
Without a us address eventually all your credit cards will be voided, and same with any us bank accounts. Can be done but is troublesome without these, unless you've done a lot of preplanning
All banks have the power to follow ip addresses, can recognize vps, know all mail forwarding addresses, follow any bank transfers and recognize different changes in spending habits. Sooner or later they will catch on and freeze your accounts. Just as Santander froze mine and others
The major banks will close your accounts if you don't provide a US residential address for the home address section. No mail service addresses, no PO Boxes there or it gets flagged.
Only option is friend/family for residential address. You can use a mail service address for the mailing address.
I literally just asked my bank this yesterday. They only need a USA address to they can send new debit cards to you. So you can just give them a friend's address or a close family member. It doesn't have to be an official address. Just one listed on your account info.
they have a mail service including scanning and they'll ship it anywhere in the world. I've had several things shipped to Thailand now from them never a problem. trying to get something from someone else like a bank always a problem.
Credit card companies don’t like virtual addresses so if you plan to keep USA credit cards consider a physical address. However my credit accepts the virtual address so I can keep my bank account open
I am not American but I have definitely heard of mail forwarding services where they will send you photos of your mail and you decide if you want them or not. Can you send it to a friend for 12 months and slowly dwindle things down?
Tawan Wallace yes but I have a tello account which is an actual SIM card and number. $5 us a month and I get unlimited SMS and 100 minutes. Perfect for getting one time passwords
