TLDR : Answer Summary
To renew your marriage visa in Thailand after it has expired, you have two main options: 1) Apply for a 90-day single entry Non-O visa based on marriage to a Thai online using the eVisa website of the Thai consulate in London. 2) Enter Thailand visa exempt (without a visa), and once here, apply for the 90-day Non-O visa at the immigration office, which can later be extended for a year. It's advisable to check your airline's policy on proof of onward travel if you choose the visa exempt entry.

Apply for a 90 day single entry Non-O visa based on marriage to a thai online using the eVisa website of the thai consulate in London,

OR

come in visa exempt (free entry) then once you're here go to the immigration office apply for first a 90 day Non-O visa based on marriage and then 2 months later a year long extension of stay

Whether you need proof of onward travel flying in free entry (visa exempt) is between you and your air carrier, and if you can board your plane without it you're unlikely to be asked anything at passport control when you stamp in here

@Graham ******
you should be able to come in on a 30 day visa exempt and then get right after the visa/extension process and be able to do it without too much problem

IF you can get on your plane without onward travel flying free entry ๐Ÿ˜•
