Hi, Just like to share my scenerio here and love to receive your advise on it. I got a new job in Malaysia and my existing Thai employer will cancel my work permit end of this month. Now for COVID, My entry pass already rejected twice from Malaysia.

I look for other visa options here. We are 3 persons including my wife and 4 year son. I talked with visa agent and they are asking for 100k for my volunteer visa with 2 dependents.Could you please advise which visa option will be good for me? Should I go for Covid visa? If I transfer to covid visa and get a new job in Thailand, can I transfer my visa here without exit from Thailand? If I go for volunteer visa, I am confusing about dependents case. Is there any dependent visa in volunteer visa option?

Thanks ๐Ÿ™

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on visa options after their work permit in Thailand is canceled due to a new job in Malaysia. They have faced challenges with entry to Malaysia and are considering a COVID-19 visa, a volunteer visa, or other alternatives. They inquire about the feasibility of transferring to a different visa type within Thailand, particularly if they secure a new job, and whether their dependents can be included under a volunteer visa.

100k is quite a lot. I recently have a retirement visa for just
*****
b including for my wife as dependent and they said nothing to do for the children under the age of 15 because of my son is just 7. Right now, I'm looking for the information about for my boy because he doesn't has a stamp in his passport like as me and my wife even they said no need to worry for it. If you need their services, find the name of visa service Pattaya in the face book. They also have an office in Bangkok.

Thanks. I heard the same. Below 15 visa not required. I checked it online and found there is a 0 fees for overstating if candidate below 15.

I' m afraid to have a problem while we have an interview at American Embassy and leaving the kingdom because of not having a stamp in my kid's passport. I've been asked for a volunteer visa for my friend, and they said the same price.

Just go for the covid unable to travel thing.

You all get 60 days at a time.

Dont waste money on a volunteer visa.
