TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses which address to use for a visa application in Vietnam if the applicant's home address is in Thailand. Several commenters share their experiences, suggesting that the home address can be in the country of residence (Vietnam in this case), the country of origin (France), or even a temporary address. Some also inquire about the need for document translation into English if the original documents are in French.

Hello! I am also French and I will apply in Vietnam too. Do you know if I have to translate all the documents into English since I only have the documents in French? And if I have to go through an approved translator?

I've put my home address in France first, clicked on 'no' and entered my current address in HCMC. I had no issue 🙂

J’ai mis mon adresse temporaire en Indonésie vu que j’ai postulé depuis Jakarta. Mais moi c’était sur un papier car c’était une ambasse en physique (walk in embassy)

As per the rules DTV should be applied at the embassy in the country you are living in.

So in this case it should be the Vietnam address since you are applying at the Vietnam embassy.
