Employee/unemployed if the income is very low under 10k annual?
I’m preparing to apply for a DTV Soft Power visa through Kathmandu and would appreciate hearing from people who have been approved in a similar situation.
My situation:
* I have maintained more than the required 500,000 THB equivalent in my personal bank account since May 7.
* The funds originally came from my father.
* I receive a regular monthly payroll payment (around
19,000 THB equivalent) through my father’s company. (Which is very low as you can understand)
* I can provide employment letters and payroll records if necessary.
* I am applying under the Soft Power category.
In this situation, would it be better to:
A) Select “Unemployed” and simply show my savings as financial proof?
Or
Select “Employee” and provide employment documents showing that I work remotely for my father’s company and receive a regular monthly salary?
If choosing “Unemployed,” did anyone provide a sponsorship/support letter from parents, or was showing personal savings above the required amount sufficient?
I would especially appreciate responses from people who were approved through Kathmandu or who had a similar family-supported financial situation.
Thank you!
