Is wine delivery legal in Bangkok?
Under the everything else heading: is there a wine delivery service in Bangkok? Cheers
Answer summary
In Bangkok, alcohol delivery is generally illegal, but some businesses find ways to sell and ship wine. Users can employ Grab Assistant to order specific items from shops, paying upon delivery. For businesses, special licensing might be required to order wine for resale.

OPGrab assistant? On the app? Or website?

OPMy bad. Found it on the app. Never found or used grab assistant in other SEA countries. I think in Cambodia it’s called Grab delivery. Cheers 👍

OPThanks as ever Brandon. Does that also mean a business can’t order a crate of wine for re-sale of individual bottles? I assume not as restaurants and bars must do that. Or you need a special license?

wholesale is a different story, i believe the 2pm-5pm ban doesn't apply to businesses buying wholesale alcohol too if it is to resellNoel **********

Alcohol delivery is illegal in Thailand.
That said you'll find business selling alcohol and wine and provide shipping with a simple Google search.
You can also use Grab Assistant if you're looking for something specific from a shop in Bangkok where you can have a Grab driver go buy it and bring it to you then you pay them when they arrive (cash only).
