Is There a Deadline for Signing Dependent Visa Extensions at Thai Immigration?

Need an advise:

My Indian friend’s mom extended her dependent visa at Korat immigration. Due to missing of an original Birth Certificate, immigration officer stamped on passport without a signature. The immigration officer asked to come back for the signature with the original certificate. The immigration officer didn’t mention when to come back though.

Is there any deadline for such cases? Or can she go back anytime before the next extension?

FYI. Original certificate is being shipped from India.

Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A friend's mom had her dependent visa extended at Korat immigration but was told to return for a signature after providing the original birth certificate, which is being shipped from India. There's no explicit deadline mentioned by the immigration officer, but it's advised to proceed as soon as the certificate arrives, as the extension is not valid without the signature.

she needs to GO out there as soon as she gets that certificate in the mail to get that extension signed. Its NOT really valid until it has a signature..

I mean I'm sure it is a real extension and that there's no issues with it but get it sorted as quick as you can.

Good Luck
