Applying COE for Phuket Sandbox, do we need to book SHA plus hotels under entrythailand .go .th or can we book through a booking website like agoda. Thanks

Answer summary

You do not need to book SHA Plus hotels through the official entrythailand.go.th website for your Phuket Sandbox COE application. Booking directly with hotels or using platforms like Agoda or Booking.com is acceptable, as long as you receive the necessary SHA number for testing and COE purposes. Questions about vaccination status documentation for the COE also arose in the discussion.

Hi Sam, you don’t need to book through that website. We booked directly with the hotel as that seemed to better assure that we could simply speak with someone there, prepay and then our SHA number, which is required to book testing and obtain the COE. Best of luck to you.

It is B8000 per person for the three tests. First one at the airport upon arrival. You pick the testing site for the following 2 tests, presumably the one closest to where you are staying.
