TLDR : Answer Summary
The multiple re-entry visa office at Don Mueang Airport is indeed open 24 hours. It is located behind the passport control counters. It is advisable to allow 10-20 minutes for processing; however, during busy hours, you might want to allow additional time. Required documents include the TM8 form (which should be prepared in advance with a photo attached), as well as the visa fee of 3,800 baht plus a possible 200 baht service fee if not waived by having all documentation ready.

Download and prepare your TM8 and attach photo before you go.I did this 3 weeks ago and it took about 10 minutes.

There is a small office room (combined with an overstay fine counter) just behind the passport control counters at DMK. It's open for 24 hours. Tell the officer at passport control that you need to get a re-entry permit there. He would direct you where you go.

Usually, you need 10-20 minutes plus. put some more in case the officers are not enough at that time of the day, around 4 am.

You will pay the fee of 3,800 baht for a multiple re-entry permit and a 200 baht service fee. If you bring all the necessary documents including photos, you may not have to pay the service fee.
