TLDR : Answer Summary
The re-entry permit office at Don Mueang Airport (DM) is open 24/7, so it will be accessible at 6am. The office is located just behind the immigration counters with a large sign saying "RE-ENTRY PERMIT". To obtain a re-entry permit, you need to bring a passport-sized photo and allow some extra time for processing.

I got one recently at DM. Once you pass Immigration there is an office right behind the counters. Big sign " RE-ENTRY PERMIT" Very friendly. Took 2 minutes.
