Is the fast track immigration line at BKK airport worth it given the recent wait times?
Today at BKK fast track and priority line very long and wait times for that were equal to regular immigration line (25 minute wait) Just fyi

Came through yesterday, the queue was backed down to the moving walkway but they were very efficient and I was approximately waiting 35 minutes from the back of the queue

I think it’s just a matter of luck. My brother arrived yesterday (fast track) and there was nobody waiting in front of him. More amazingly, he was greeted by a friendly immigration officer.

Went through Fastrac and by the time I got out to the allocated baggage carousel last bag had already been offloaded and my bags were taken off the conveyor belt and put onto the floor nearby. Go figure, they were very fastPhill *****

better check with the Airline if they offer assistance for wheelchair pax. Some Airlines charge for this service. From the Gates it can be quite a trip, even for someone capable of walking. 20-25mins walk, from the furthest gates.Natalie ***********

just check it's not specific to Boarding and includes Disembarkation. Normally you use the special assistance immigration desk, with wheelchair access. I mention this as I've boarded a plane, injured and preferably in need of wheelchair assistance, but because I didn't book in advance, I had to struggle with embarking and disembarking.

They can use Fast Track. Best you organise online , my family have often usedlimousine.in.th
Read the whole page, they can meet and greet you as uou exit plane. Help with bagage if you give a tip, and you can book large taxis with them. All in one, well worth the money which i dont find expensive.

They really need to sort out pre-arrival visas, like many other Asian countries. It's all done before you arrive. You just walk to a smart gate. Biometrics are matched to your passport. You enter the country without human interaction. Very fast and uncomplicated.

Its the 30 million tourists that are creating chaos with a large number of them who have not done their DTAC. Immigration would need at least 30 officers on immédiate call to deal with the arrivals. Some automation is desperately needed. Ridiculous that they cant have found a solution long ago. Its always been a mess.

25 mins in fast track? Try the normal lane, you'll learn. And even so, 25 mins aint nothin. Expect the FT lane to be an hour or so in the future, thats the best solution to this current problem now. Lets wait after elections.

no. Fast track is not FAST TRACK. Fast track ensures you get in without any hassle, normal lanes will get you kicked back to where you came from if you have a history that is unacceptable to the officer. Huge difference. Again, read between the lines.Thaimer ******
