Hi everyone

I applied for Thai pass last Monday and haven’t heard a thing. I received this last night into my junk email.

This is the email it came from - Support@document-consul.com

Does this seem genuine??

SCAM !

Its a spear fishing attempt, you can reply, but immediately after you reply with whatever innocent information the first email asks for, it will respond with a second email with a link to a page where it will attempt to install a virus on your machine. It will include a comment about having to load the link on a PC and not a phone.

Whatever you do, DONT click the link included in the second email on a PC (or anywhere for that matter)

I’ve just got exactly the same thing through this morning! Only applied for mine on Wednesday but last time it came through in 48 hours but I’m not travelling for a couple of weeks so fingers crossed. Good luck 🤞

Scam!!!!

I got the same mail this morning. I didn’t buy it. I knew it was a scam. So I googled for" Thailand pass scam". And the rest is history..... It happened to so many people...

Genuine approval will have the QR Code certificate. If they do need any information it would be asked to be done via the Thai Pass registration form not over email

Travelling to Thailand

1. 1. Please prepare your documents to present at the check-in counter and to the agencies concerned when arriving in Thailand. The documents are as follows

1. 1.1 Passport with visa (if required)

2. 1.2 Thailand Pass QR Code (on mobile device or printed copy)

3. 1.3 Medical certificate with a laboratory result indicating that COVID-19 is not detected through RT-PCR test (issued within 72 hours before departure). If the Port Health and Quarantine at airports in Thailand discover that you have invalidated COVID-19 RT-PCR test result or if the type of the test is not RT-PCR method, you will not be eligible to be exempted from quarantine, but you may be allowed to enter Thailand by quarantine only.

2. 2. When arriving in Thailand, please present your documents and Thailand Pass QR Code to the immigration and disease control officers.

Remarks:

1. 1. You can edit your submission by accessing tp.consular.go.th and entering your access code. However, please be advised that this will result in your submission re-entering the approval process, which could take 3 – 7 working days

2. 2. if your airline requires additional documents, kindly prepare the additional required documents, or you may be denied boarding

yeah I received confirmation and got a code etc to log on and check my status which just says “reviewing”. We have applied for just over 3 weeks in advance

reach out to your hotel and ask if they have acknowledged your Thailand Pass. They will have the best contact way as well.
