Once the Digital Travel Visa (DTV) is approved, it becomes effective immediately. Applicants have the flexibility to enter Thailand before their chosen 'arrival date' as specified in their application. However, if entry occurs before the visa is officially activated, the traveler may need to leave and re-enter Thailand to fully activate their DTV. Also, while the DTV approval can occur at any time, it's advised not to apply too far in advance to avoid any processing backlog.
