Hi, does anyone have experience doing 6 mo. renewals by means of land border to Malaysia? I'm in the south and from here it doesn't make sense to fly, so I was thinking to take a few days holiday to Malaysia, travelling by land.
Answer summary
The post discusses the possibility of renewing a Thai visa by making a land border trip to Malaysia, specifically asking for experiences from others. A comment confirms that this method is feasible, noting that upon returning to Thailand with a new TDAC (Thai Departure and Arrival Card), travelers can receive an additional 180 days of stay based on their valid visa.

You mean going to Malaysia for a few days and on return to Thailand showing your passport and new TDAC and get a new 180 day stay based on a valid DTV?
