Is it necessary for my employment contract in Thailand to specify my monthly income for visa purposes?

Question: For the company employment contract/letter, does my boss have to include my monthly income too? Or just proving you have the minimum required funds in your bank account is enough. Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirement for including your monthly income in your employment contract for visa purposes in Thailand can vary. It appears there is no strict income requirement for the DTV visa; instead, proving a minimum balance of 500,000 THB or its equivalent in another currency is generally sufficient. Some users mentioned that while it may not be mandatory to include your salary in the employment letter, it can be beneficial to have this information included for clarity.

You may not need it. My Certificate of Employment included salary.

I don't think it's mandatory, but in mine, I made them include it, like writing "xxx dollars per month in average".

There is no income requirement for the DTV. The financial requirement is 500k THB or local equivalent.
