Is it easier to enter Thailand with a Tourist Visa at land borders compared to air entry?

If I understood correctly:

- Coming back with a Tourist visa (setv) is more easy on almost all land borders, less troubles then by air, correct?

(Lao i am thinking about, most easy?)

- Arriving by land with a Tourist visa, doesn't use one of the 2 land crossings you get each year for a tourist exemption.

Thanks members & Tod for all your wisdom. ( I have EU passport, and already around 1 year worth of thai visa )

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion clarifies that entering Thailand with a Tourist visa at land borders is generally comparable to air entry in terms of ease, and that arriving by land does not affect the two allowable visa exemption entries per year.

The Exempt Extry is not a visa. It is a waiver / exemption from not having bought an actual visa prior to coming to Thailand.

A tourist visa is no different by land or air and is not related in any way to the 2 allowable visa exemption land border entries.

There's not really any difference if you have a valid visa
